Understanding the products and journal codes listed on an invoice

To determine which products and journal codes are utilized on an invoice, simply follow these steps. If you have modified a product's name or price, you can still refer back to the original product details using the following guidelines.

To check which products and journal codes are used on an invoice, follow these steps. When using a product, you may have changed its name or price, but you can always refer back to the original product details.

Access the invoice in View mode by navigating to Billing > Invoices and selecting the invoice using the search icon. Next, view the details per invoice line by clicking on the "..." at the end of each line.


Here, you can see the date associated with the product, the original product name (used for reporting purposes), and the journal code (used for accounting integrations). This information allows you to track and understand the products and codes utilized in the invoice.
