Learn how to effectively assign and organize labels for your contacts. By adding labels to your contacts, you can easily manage and update them as needed.
In this guide, you will discover the essential steps to efficiently assign and categorize labels for your contacts. Incorporating labels into your contacts enables you to streamline the management and updates required for each contact. By following these steps, you can ensure a well-organized and easily accessible contact list.Step 1: Go to Contacts and select the contact you would like the update
Step 2: Navigate to the contact and scroll down to the Label section, where you can access the Label editor.
Step 3: Add Labels using (+) Label
You have the option to add either existing or new labels to each of your contacts. Some companies use this feature to categorize contacts based on their sector (e.g., grouping all the IoT companies) or special status (e.g., VIP or late payments).
Once you type in a new label, simply press Enter on your keyboard to activate it. The label will then appear in blue, indicating that it has been successfully added.
Once you have added the labels, you can utilize them as filters within the Contact list.
To do this, simply click on Filters > Tags > Select the label you wish to filter by > then click Apply.
You can utilize the filter by labels for various tasks, such as exporting as a CSV file and performing bulk edits on your contacts. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Go to Filters > Filter by labels > Select a label > Apply.
2. Click on Export without billing info (or click on the little arrow for more options) to export the filtered contacts as a CSV file.
To access the Contacts overview, go to the Contacts tab. Click on the More option and choose Bulk edit users. Apply filters by selecting Tags and choose the specific tag you want to filter by. Click Apply to finalize the bulk edit process.
Within the Edit user section, you have the flexibility to select and modify the desired information. Once you have made your changes, simply save them at the bottom by clicking on the 'Edit' button.
