How to close a meeting room for a certain period

Utilize business hours to temporarily close a meeting room for a set duration or specific days. This feature comes in handy during periods of construction or when hosting conferences

You can take advantage of the business hours feature to easily set a temporary closure for a meeting room during specific days or for a set period. This functionality is especially beneficial when dealing with construction work, organizing conferences, or any other situation where the room needs to be temporarily unavailable.

To set a time when the meeting room is closed, simply navigate to My Center, click on Meeting Rooms, choose the desired room, and access the Business Hours section.

To create a new time schedule, simply click on the plus icon on the right. You can then utilize the specific date checkbox at the bottom to choose the days when the meeting room will be closed.

To close off a meeting room, click on the "Close" button and select the dates for when you want the room to be unavailable. Then, click "ok" to confirm your selection, and finally, remember to click on "Save" to apply the changes. This ensures that the meeting room will be closed during the specified dates, allowing you to easily manage its availability for any special events or maintenance work.

It is important to ensure that your regular opening hours are also active alongside the temporary closure you have set for a specific period. By keeping your regular opening hours enabled, you can maintain consistency in the availability of the meeting room. This will help prevent any confusion among users and ensure smooth operations for any events or maintenance work. Remember to check that both the regular opening hours and the temporary closure are correctly set to effectively manage the room's availability.

The final display will indicate that the regular opening hours are active, and there is an exception for closure during specific dates.
