How to assign insight into specific zones for user side reporting

To assign insight into specific zones for user-side reporting, Zapfloor provides a robust roles system that allows you to control access to data for different users.

By utilizing this feature, you can grant certain users the ability to monitor and analyze the performance of specific zones or areas while restricting access for others.

If you have specific zones or areas that you want to provide insights on, follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Roles > Resource groups.

Step 2: Click on '+ New' to create a new resource group.

Step 3: Provide a title for the Resource Group, such as "Brussels office building A" or "Berlin campus without parking." Then, add the relevant zones and areas to this group under the Resources tab and click Update

Step 4: Create a role, such as "Insights" or "Usage monitoring," in Settings > Roles to accompany this resource group.

Step 5: Go to Contacts and select the users who should have access to this data. Use Filters to segment users, choose the Customer (Company) to assign the Resource Group to, and then use the bulk editor to grant access to the specific zones or areas.

To give a user access to the data, assign them the appropriate role and resource group in the Role field.
