Creating a cancellation policy

Creating a cancellation policy is essential for managing reservation occupancy in office spaces.

To address the issue of last-minute booking cancellations by tenants, Zapfloor provides a solution that enables you to establish rules for implementing a cancellation fee based on specific criteria.

By following these steps, you can easily create a cancellation policy tailored to your needs:

Step 1: Navigate to My Center > Settings > Product policy > Create policy

Step 2: Enter the necessary details by giving your policy a name and specifying the rules. Click on Create to save your policy.

If you have varying cancellation fees depending on the timing of the cancellation, you can add multiple rules to accommodate different scenarios.

Step 3: Once your policy is set up, assign it to the relevant products. For instance, if you want to apply the cancellation policy to a meeting room, go to My Center > Meeting rooms > select a meeting room, and then add the policy under the Product policy group.

By implementing a cancellation policy through Zapfloor, you can effectively manage booking cancellations and ensure optimal reservation occupancy for your office space.
