Once a deal is successfully closed, you have the option to convert an account into a customer.
To link an account to a customer, start by going to Leads > Accounts and locating the specific account you want to link. Once you have found the account, click on the "Convert to customer" button located on the top right corner. This action will establish a connection between the account and the customer, helping you keep track of all incoming deals associated with that customer.
If you need to link an account to an existing customer, follow the same steps mentioned above. After clicking on the "Convert to customer" button, a fold-out menu will appear. From there, you can select the option to link the account to an existing customer. This way, you can easily consolidate all relevant information under the correct customer profile.
In case you mistakenly linked an account to the wrong customer, don't worry. You can easily unlink the account by following these steps. Simply go to Leads > Accounts, find the linked account, and click on the option to unlink it from the customer. This will remove the association between the account and the customer, allowing you to make the necessary corrections.
