Configuring ID tech integration

Our integration with ID Tech streamlines access control management by automating it.

By integrating with ID Tech, access control management is made more efficient through automation.

Information Required from the ID Tech Installer:

  1. Site Code: This is a numerical code for the site.
  2. ID Tech Software Access Token: This token provides access to the software.
  3. API URL: The URL for the ID Tech API.

Trusted Hosts and Network IP Whitelisting

Since the ID Tech server operates on a local server, network-level adjustments are needed for Zapfloor to access the server.

  • Trusted Hosts: To allow Zapfloor to access the server, the following static IP addresses of our server should be whitelisted:
    • 54.194.86.204
    • 54.194.98.136

Before Zapfloor can connect to the server, an SSL certificate must be installed on the server. Then, IIS bindings need to be adjusted to use https instead of http. The web services run on ports 443 (https) or 80 (http).

Setting Up Rules

In ID Tech, set up 'rules' for each meeting room or office to control user access to the appropriate locks.
