Configure a resource group for your meeting room

A resource group refers to a specific area or set of resources within a coworking space that is designated for the use of a particular group or team. In zapfloor this includes meeting rooms that are reserved or allocated for a specific team.

Once you have created a resource group, here's how to assign in to a contact (user) so they get access to the selected meeting rooms.

Option 1: Assign resource group to a single user:

Go to Customer > Contacts

Select the user and scroll down to their role

Click on their role and add the resource group to it:

Option 2: Assign to multiple users at once:

Go to Customer > Contacts

Here you select which users get access to those meeting rooms.

On the left menu and you can use Filters to segment the users. Here you can choose the Customer (Company) that you want to assign the created Resource Group to. This is a way to provide access to users from a specific company or team.

Click on the checkbox next to Name to select all the users and then from the fold out on the Export button go to the bulk editor to give all these users access to the meeting room from the created resource group.

NOTE:

A resource group need to be assigned to a user together with a role.

You can create a role like "Exclusive meeting rooms" or "VIP" in Settings > Roles
