This guide explains how to set up Scrive digital signing with Zapfloor, so your contracts can be created, signed, and stored online seamlessly.
1. Getting Your Scrive Account

Contact Scrive to create your account.

Log in to confirm your credentials work.

Ask your Customer Success Manager to enable the Scrive Integration.
2. Connecting Scrive with Zapfloor

In Zapfloor, go to Integrations > Scrive > Connect.

Follow the steps to link your Scrive account.
3. Preparing Your Contract Template

Open your Word template for subscription contracts.

Insert the following variables where the parties should sign:

tenant_signature
→ Tenant -
account_sign
→ Operator
Ensure the following variables are added where the tenant and operator should sign and make sure you set the font color to white so the text doesn’t show up on the contract:

Upload the Word template in Zapfloor > Settings > Standard Contracts.

Save the same document as a PDF on your computer.
4. Configuring the Template in Scrive

In Scrive, go to New Process > Templates > Create a new process.

3. Go to Document → Upload the PDF saved earlier.
4. Add signature fields:

Place signature box exactly under
tenant_signature

Place another exactly under
account_sign
. -
In Advanced Settings, set anchor points:

Search phrase =
account_sign
for operator box

If multiple signature boxes are needed, change event index (2, 3, 4...).

5. Save as Template.
6. Copy the Scrive Document ID from the template URL (fields/[number]#
). Template number it is called.

5. Final Configuration in Zapfloor
1. In Zapfloor, go to Integrations > Scrive.

Paste the Scrive Document ID into Template ID.

Select Digital Signing as the signing method.

2. Go to Settings > Standard Contracts and add the same Document ID.

You may reuse the same ID across contracts.

6. Sending a Contract

Open a customer subscription in Zapfloor.
-
Click More > Process for Online Signature.
-
The contract is sent to the tenant’s primary contact.

Once both parties sign, the contract is automatically stored under the subscription.
Notes
-
Scrive is configured per location. Each location must be set up separately.

Only one Scrive account is required — it can connect to multiple locations.

The contract email is sent from the operator user email in My Center.

The “From” address matches the location’s From Email.
