Reporting - Check-in report
This page explains the Check-in report and how its values are calculated. It helps you understand what the numbers in the dashboard, charts, tables, and exports mean and how they are derived.
1. Purpose of the report
The Check-in report provides an overview of check-in activity over a selected period. It helps you analyse the number of check-ins, the customers and users represented, the number of visitors who checked in, and how check-in activity is distributed by day and by customer. The report uses one shared dataset across all views, so the tables, charts, and exports should show consistent results when the same filters are applied.
2. Available filters
| Filter | Explanation |
| Date | Includes check-ins with a check-in date inside the selected date range. |
| Location | Limits the report to the selected location or locations. Users only see locations they have access to. If only one location is available to the user, this filter may be hidden. |
| Customer | Limits the report to check-ins linked to the selected customer or customers. |
3. Important calculation rules
The report is based on the check-in date, so a check-in is included when its check-in date falls within the selected date range. Only user check-ins are included; visitor check-ins are not part of the report. Access rights apply, meaning the report only includes data from locations you are allowed to access. Any selected filters, such as location or customer, are applied across the entire report, including tables, charts, and exports. The chart may also show dates with zero check-ins to keep the timeline complete.
4. Top tiles, charts and tables
| Description | Explanation |
| Total check-ins | The Total Check-ins value shows the total number of check-in actions that match the selected filters. It counts every check-in with a check-in date within the selected date range. If the same person checks in multiple times, each check-in is counted separately. |
| Customers checked in | The Total Customers value shows the number of different customers with at least one check-in during the selected period. Each customer is counted only once, even if they have multiple users or multiple check-ins. |
| Users checked in | The Total Users value shows the number of different users who checked in at least once during the selected period. Each user is counted only once, even if the same user checked in multiple times. |

Check-ins per day |
This line chart shows how check-in activity changes over time for the selected filters. The X-axis shows each date in the selected period, while the Y-axis shows the total number of check-ins. Each day represents the number of matching check-ins recorded on that date. Dates with no check-ins may still be shown with a value of zero to keep the timeline complete and easy to read. |
| Daily summary | The Daily Summary table shows check-in activity over time based on the selected filters. You can view the results by week or month using the available toggle. The table groups check-ins by the corresponding week or month within the selected date range, making it easy to compare activity across different periods. |
| Check-ins per customer | This table shows check-in activity grouped by customer for the selected filters. It shows one row per customer that matches the filters and opens up to show the detail of the check-ins per user during the filtered period |
5. Exports
The export contains one file with all check-ins in scope. It uses the same filtered dataset as the on-screen report.
Note : The report data should reflect the current reporting dataset when the page loads or refreshes. Reloading the report updates the information shown on screen.
