Reporting Current contract information

1. Purpose of the report

The Current Contract Information report provides an overview of your current contracts and upcoming contract changes. It helps you understand how many contracts are currently active, which contracts are ending soon, which contracts are starting, and how the number of contracts changes over time.

2. Available filters

Filter	Meaning
Date	Limits the report to a selected date range. The tables and their results are based on this filtered period. For example, selecting July 2026 will show contracts ending in, starting in, or running during July 2026.
Contract type	Limits the report to the selected standard contract type or types.
Location	Limits the report to the selected location or locations. Users only see locations they have access to. If only one location is available to the user, this filter may be hidden.

3. Important calculation rules

The report is based on subscription data. Each contract shown in the report represents a subscription. Discarded, deleted, and initialized subscriptions are not included in the report. Initialized subscriptions are subscriptions that have been prepared but have not yet started. These subscriptions are excluded from all tiles, charts, tables, and exports.

The report only includes data for locations that you have permission to access.

The calculated end date is used throughout the report. This determines whether a contract is considered active or ending within the selected period and therefore affects the figures shown in the tiles, charts, tables, and exports. A subscription is considered to be ending based on the contract end date and whether automatic renewal is enabled. The report uses these settings, together with any cancellation or final end date, to determine the end date shown in the report.

3.1 How a subscription ends

The end date of a subscription depends on the subscription's end date, whether automatic renewal is enabled, and whether the subscription has been cancelled.

End date (Subscription end date): This is the end date defined for the subscription. If automatic renewal is disabled, this is normally the date on which the subscription is expected to end.
Auto renew: When automatic renewal is enabled, the subscription continues automatically after the end date. In this case, the subscription only gets a new end date when it is cancelled.
Cancelled on: When a subscription is cancelled, this field contains the planned date on which the subscription will stop. This is usually a future date.
Ended on: This field contains the date on which the subscription actually ended. It is set when the subscription reaches its end date or when the planned cancellation date is reached.

4. Top tiles, charts and tables

Tile/Chart/Table	Meaning
Current running contracts	Shows how many subscriptions have already started and have not ended yet. Also includes contracts that have been cancelled but are still active until their planned end date. Counts subscriptions that started today or earlier and are not ended yet. If an end date is known, that date must be today or later. Subscriptions in initialized status are excluded.
Auto renews this month	Shows how many active contracts are set to renew during the current calendar month. Counts active subscriptions with a renewal date in the current month. Subscriptions in initialized status are excluded.
Contracts ending this month	Shows how many contracts are expected to end during the current calendar month, based on the report’s end-date rules. Counts subscriptions where the report’s calculated end date falls in the current month. Subscriptions in initialized status are excluded.
Contracts started this month	Shows how many contracts begin during the current calendar month. Counts subscriptions with a start date in the current month. Subscriptions in initialized status are excluded.
Total running this and previos quartes	This chart shows the number of running contracts across the previous and current quarter, giving you an overview of how your active contracts evolve over time. The X-axis shows the months in the previous and current quarter, while the Y-axis shows the number of running contracts. Contracts are grouped by contract type, and you can choose to display the data as either stacked or grouped bars. A contract is counted for a month if it was active for all or part of that month. Subscriptions with an initialized status, meaning they have been prepared but have not yet started, are excluded from the chart and from the entire report. A contract does not need to run for the full month to be counted. If it was active during any part of the month, it is included for that month.
List contracts ending this period	This table shows subscriptions whose calculated end date falls within the selected period filter. Subscriptions that are only prepared (status initialized) are excluded.
List contracts started this period	This table shows subscriptions whose start date falls within the selected period filter. Subscriptions that are only prepared (status initialized) are excluded.
Running contracts this period	This table shows subscriptions that were active at some point during the selected period. A subscription is included if it had started by the end of the selected period and had not ended before the period began. If no end date is available, the subscription is considered ongoing. Subscriptions with initialized status, meaning they are prepared but not yet started, are excluded from the report.

4.1 Columns used in the contract list

Column	Meaning
Company	Customer linked to the subscription. Taken from the customer on the subscription.
Contract type	Type of contract for the subscription. Taken from the subscription's standard contract type.
Status	Current subscription status. Taken from the subscription status. Subscriptions with status initialized will not be available.
Start date	Date on which contract starts. Taken from the subscription start date.
End date	End date used by report. Shown as the calculated end date according to the report logic.
Renewal date	Next renewal date for contract.Taken from the subscription renewal date.
Cancelled on	Cancellation date recorded for the contract.
Notice period	Notice period as defined on the contract.
Contract number	Identifier of the contract.

5. Exports

The export contains one file with all subscriptions in scope. It uses the same filtered dataset as the on-screen report.
